Works so well. These kept my family cool while in Orlando FL in July. Not too heavy around the neck. Excellent battery life. We were in Florida for 7 days and didn't have to change the batteries.

These were a lifesaver for our June trip to Disney. Outside it provides a nice little breeze on your face, but in the air conditioning is where these really shine. Waiting in line these fans blow the cool air right on your face making you instantly cool off. Definitely made the Florida heat more bearable.

My family used these when we hiked the Grand Canyon. Having these blow air on us while in the 115 degree canyon was essential. Perfect for any time you know you will be in a hot situation. The fan makes a bit of noise, but not too much that you can't hear over it.

We bought these for a Disney trip in July to cope with the hot humid temps. I was disappointed to discover one of the 4 fans didn’t have a battery cover straight out if the box but it was the day before the trip so we just taped the batteries in. It worked. Not ideal. The fans were okay. They were reasonably quiet, but mostly because they weren’t very strong. It was super convenient to use them with no hands, although they did get a bit uncomfortable on my neck after wearing them a while because of the thin string. Hindsight, I would have bought a misting fan instead even if I had to carry it in the stroller because these weren’t really keeping up with the extreme heat.I don’t think other than the missing battery cover that they weren’t what they were supposed to be, I just wasn’t extremely impressed in our use case. The cooling towels we bought were a lot more effective at beating the heat, although the fans did kick them up a notch. Undoubtedly better than no fans at all and the price was fair for what they are. Batteries lasted all day too. But I would have taken the cooling towels any day if the week over the fans.

Convenient for travel and quiet fan

I have been using these for the last 9 years. Being a person, who tends to be warm, working in areas, which tend to be hot, the cooling breeze is necessary. Working as a cashier, unable to move around much m this was a necessary addition, at work. The ability to change the batteries, in a matter of seconds, is crucial. Just keep extra batteries in your pocket. I have tried the rechargeable types and they fail. Charge never lasts as long as advertised .

I like that this fan can be worn and adjusted around my neck and that I can move around while it helps me to stay cool.

A friend gave me this little fan and I kept it in my purse. Then, last summer, I spent a lot more and bought the USB chargeable 3 -peed little fans with lanyard and stand. It worked great all last summer. Turned it on 3 days ago, battery life showed 60% so I hooked it to the charger. Nothing, dead as a door nail and won't charge.Keep it simple and stick with the less expensive battery operated fans. Who needs 3 speeds? Not me.Battery life will depend on the batteries you use, I buy Energizer Lithium AA and they seem to last and last and last . . . . just like the bunny.

Helps cool off a bit but the fans inside are fairly weak.The batteries can make it a bit heavy to carry around the next as well.

This little fan works exceptionally well to cool the wearer to a much more bearable temperature, without disruptive noises or discomfort. It is a wonderful, affordable, and comfortable find!
