Good quality and detail
An excellent high quality model. The body is metal but the horizontal stablizers are plastic. The metal fuse and wings make it heavy which gives it a substancial feel over something that just all plastic.

Great diecast model
I wanted a good diecast model of the SR -71 to sit on my desk. I like to use object lessons, and there is much to be learned about how the Skunk Works teams were empowered to create the SR - 71. This is a great model, big enough to see, and the detail on it is really good.

It's OK but on the smallish side and the detail is not that great. It's...OK.Check the measurements before you buy.

Pieces fall off. Not made well at all
Took it out of the box and one of the rudders were bent. One of the engines wouldn’t stay on. So no I would not recommend this.
