Jeep Wrangler Shovel Mount
I’m using these mounts to secure my shovel to the roof rack on top of the Jeep. Works well the little shovel I have. I’ve been using this setup for a couple weeks now and the design is simple and effective. I haven’t had any issues with the shovel being up there. I commute to work daily with this on the interstate and it holds well. I did add a small rubber strip to the shovel where the mount clamps down just to make it a little more snug. I’ve also decided to secure the shovel with a safety wire just in case for added protection.Overall, I’d say it’s an easy and great way to secure a tool like this to your vehicle or trailer. Just be sure to take the necessary steps to secure the setup with your application. Easy on and easy off, versatile and and great value for the money.

REALLY great clamps!
I have many of these clamps. This purchase was for my new e-bike. I needed a way to carry a big Kryptonite bike lock and two Kryptonite cables on this bike. I used four of these clamps. This size and the Micro size. I used two of the micro size to mount the Kryptonite U lock and two of this size to hold the two Kryptonite cables. These clamps work GREAT! The lock and cables are VERY secure. There aren't any bicycle specific products that are better than these clamps. I also have these clamps in a larger size holding a Halligan tool and another two holding up two huge 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" combination wrenches. These are strong clamps, that are easy to use and are inexpensive. What more could you ask?

Sturdy, strong well priced
Very heavy-duty, in fact, it is a lot less flexible than I thought. I hope it softens with use. But it is nice and solid feeling.

So far so good!
So far so good! Used to mount a shovel in the back of my truck. I used riv-nuts to mount and things went smoothly. Haven’t had them in for long but so far they are holding strong.

These work quite well. I think I've used 6 so far for holding tools in my utility trailers.

Doesn't hold tightly
The media could not be loaded. Product claims to hold items as small as a 1 inch diameter. It does hold my shovel but the diameter of my shovel is 1-1/4 inches and I can turn it and it wobbles on the tightest strap setting. It is not a secure as I had hoped it would be. The product recommends a 10mm screw or bolt to secure it. I went a little bigger with a 1/4" bolt with a washer and locknut on the back-side. There is a plastic rectangle with a hole in it that goes on the inside of the clamp in the notch for the head of the screw or bolt to sit in (arrow). The 1/4" bolt I used does not push through the plastic piece but it does thread through it if you turn the bolt. I had to push the bolt pretty hard to get it through the 10mm hole in the clamp. But I couldn't find any locknuts for a 10mm bolt and I feel like a thicker bolt is stronger. I feel like the fastener will not come undone so there really isn't any way for the shovel to fall off but I haven't traveled with it yet.
