Wide Stainless Steel Cap

Works just fine for both hot and cold beverages and I have not had any leakage issues. My only comment for others is that when I drink my nose touches the lid and the resulting very slight smudge will be visible. Just an aesthetic issue and not one of functionality but I supposed with a lighter color lid this may be less noticeable.

I've bought a couple of these for different bottles and they're my favorite. I have a 40oz bottle and even when it's full (and heavy), I can leave it hanging by the lid on a hook in my car overnight and it stays attached and sealed. One of them did recently lose the gasket inside, I'm not sure how, but I'd been using it often for over a year and it only happened to one of the lids so I'm guessing that's a fluke. Overall, I'd say great quality and imo the best lid option.

I'm really impressed with this lid. It fits my Hydro Flask wide mouth bottle perfectly, creating a tight seal with zero leaks, even when tossed in a backpack. The build quality feels solid and durable, just like you'd expect from Hydro Flask. It’s definitely worth the money for the peace of mind and convenience it offers. Highly recommend if you need a reliable, leakproof lid!

I have one for all my hydro flask bottles. You can't use it without the straw and you have to use the straws it comes with or it will leak, even if it seams like the same size. But other than that it's a great replacement for the usual cap. I know it sounds simple but I love it because I'm always trying to find ways to get myself to drink more water and the flip straw rather than having to unscrew the cap makes a huge difference in my water intake.

Love that it works with my existing hydro flasks. Got to clean it more often than regular lids though.

I wasn't sure if this cap was mostly designed for sipping hot drinks or whether it would work for guzzling cold drinks too. I'm happy to report it works for water guzzlers.I use it exclusively while playing tennis, and want to guzzle water while we're changing sides between games. I did not like the standard wide mouth screw cap nor the flex-straw cap. Once I remove the screw cap, it doesn't hold back ice cubes and that interferes with fast drinking. There's no ice to deal with using the flex-straw cap, but while I'm catching my breath, I don't like the extra effort to suck water up the straw. It's definitely more effort than drinking from a standard cup and straw.This cap is perfect. It opens easily and quickly. When wide open, I can pour more water than I can swallow and ice never impedes. It's easy to regulate flow by not inverting the bottle so much or partially closing the cap. It's also leakproof. I routinely store the bottle on its side and there's never any leakage. I also love that the cap easily comes apart so you can wash and fully dry all wet passages to assure yourself there will never be any moldy surprise.It would be great if it came in many other colors, but to me, that's not a detracctor of this cap.

Ya know what makes a lot of noise in my Hydro Flask? Ice sloshing around with my favorite tasty beverage. This stainless steel lid is no louder than anything else in life.It's actually a great lid in all seriousness. Lid fits like a glove, doesn't leak, the look has made me popular again with the ladies. And best of all, the reason I went with this, won't smell over time from coffee.Edit: Have had for 2 weeks. My bottle is my workhorse at work and at home. There no metal shavings, I repeat there areno metal shavings. The lid is very well machine there is no need to clamp it down super hard.Feels great handling something w/o plastic that has weight. That plastic handle is destined to be removed.Wish: the handle was also smoothed metal. Gladly pay extra.
