These tongs are really, really nice. They are all metal and very strong. I absolutely love the shorter 9 inch one and wish they offered packages of two of them as well. The longer one was too long for my purposes, but thought it great for anyone with a grill. So I sent the 12 incher to my brother, Pete, in Florida who has a grill. He loved it and thanked me profusely for sending it to him. He had never seen tongs like that. I highly recommend these tongs. If you don't need both, buy them and make someone happy with a gift. :)

Good pair of tongs . I was surprised. Much better then the cheap ones you get at the local grocery store . Can lift heavier items . Comes with a lock that will keep them closed when stored.

Nifty set of tongs. These are exactly what I was looking for and I've used them grilling, pulling asparagus spears from a pan and for flipping bacon in just the last few days.Great value for the price, and they're sturdy enough that they seem like they'll hold up well.

I was undecided about getting these 3 black ones or a pair of cute pink ones.I'm glad I got these because the pink ones only came in medium and large, while these come in large, medium and small.The small ones really come in handy when handling small food items like strawberries and or bacon.My teenage daughter also commented on how comfortable and handy the small ones are.All in all I'm glad I chose these over the other ones.

My boyfriend asked me to buy tongs not because we don't have tongs, but because "he couldn't find them." Do I think he actually looked for them? These are great! We recently started a high protein diet and are having a lot of steak. These are very sturdy and I love how you can store them closed up to save space.

Just used at a party and they worked great. Holding up well to use and washing so far. They also feel substantial and not flimsy at all.
