The. Best. Bulb.
These are the best bulbs on the market that I’ve found. They work flawlessly within their Hue ecosystem and integrate easily into Apple Home. Unfortunately you’ll need the Hue Bridge to make it matter.I hate proprietary technology for the sake of its own propriety. That’s an absurd and offensive notion to me as a capitalist. Unless it works so well that you forget about being imprisoned by something you bought and paid for.The Hue bridge is necessary to make these worth their price, but that’s the point of it, isn’t it?On their own, connected through Bluetooth, they work fine. But for them to really shine(fully intended, apologies) you need the bridge. So let’s take it to the bridge! The whole setup for a small house will set you back a grand, depending on how many lights you outfit. If you’re rich and have a big house this doesn’t apply to you bc you get your money for nothing and your chicks for free. If you’re on a budget like a poor schmuck, this is a big ask.I have yet to see how long they’ll last, but based on how many of them failed on arrival(none), I think they should be good for the long haul.(As a side note, I first bought cheap Chinese no name brand. Then moved up to GE Cync, which were awful. And then finally bit the bullet and bought these. They’re the winners.)

So convenient and adjustable, I love them!
Love these lights, picking the default light color is a little tricky because I didn’t know what my regular bedroom lights were set too so I didn’t know what to set these too, but once you find the sweet spot they become perfect. Can adjust to almost every color, and the convenience of turning them on or off and dimming them with my phone is the best part, I highly recommend them!

Great Automated Light Bulbs!
Most of our house lights are automated now, with only Hue light bulbs. We are working on adding them to all the lights in the house. These light bulbs are great, the accessories they have are great and so is the app! Would highly recommend.

Best bulbs if you can get on sale
If you can get these on sale, do it. I've had wifi bulbs and they constantly disconnected for no reason. I wanted Zigby and these are the best out there but also the most overpriced. But you get quality for the cost. They have never lost connection and they turn off with a dimming effect vs just off which I didn't even know was a feature I'd like. They are way too expensive at regular price but if you can get them on sale, you won't regret it. Only 4 stars though just because of how expensive they are

Some Of The Best Smart Bulbs On The Market!
Ever since I went to a large electronics retail store near me to get something totally different than these bulbs and saw the Philips Hue demonstrated in concert with what I was looking for, I was hooked on them. I have them throughout my home and have them in my office at work. I have about 30 of them in my house and 10 of them in my office. To say the least, I am more than satisfied with the Philips Hue products. Now the review…Philips have been making bulbs for many years and then when they broke into the industry of smart wifi bulbs, they became quite the hit. Pair the hue bulbs with the Hue Bridge and the app, one’s creative side can really shine. The Build Quality. These bulbs have a little heft to them whereas there is a lot of technology that needs to be crammed into a space the size … well the size of a light bulb. The build quality in my opinion is pretty solid and done well. The illumination part diffuses the LEDs used in these bulbs are very smooth and do not see any hot spots whatsoever from the LEDS inside. The colors produced from the RGB LEDS are pretty rich and vibrant but as in every RGB style bulb, the light output will vary from color to color and different white temperatures. Case in point. If you choose the bulbs to light up in blue, the overall Lumens factor will be less than if you choose to use Yellow or other bright colors of the spectrum. But if you go with the white ambiance aspect, the whites will pretty much be equal in Lumens factor from the lower temperature like 2700K to the higher temperatures like 6500k.Features.These bulbs are full of them when you connect them with the Hue bridge. You can have them turn on and off with the use of Google Home, Assistant or Alexa. You can turn them on or off with the use of the user-friendly app and even turn them on or off when you are out and about as long as you have the app connected to the cloud server set up within your smart home. You can set up various different scenes as long as you have multiple Hue Bulbs. Scenes really don’t look great or seems simplistic if you have just one bulb. To get the best results, I recommend 5 or more of the Hue Bulbs in a room to get the different color scenes to show off well. (Refer to the bedroom pic I posted with this review.)The latest versions of the Hue Bulbs can be operated via Bluetooth on the dedicated Bluetooth version of the Hue app. So, with bulbs having the Bluetooth technology, you do not need to have the Hue Bridge. The downside to that is you will not be able to set up multiple rooms and you can only control 10 Hue Bulbs via Bluetooth vs. up to 50 Hue Bulbs with using the Hue Bridge. If there is anything that would be considered a downfall to these bulbs, is they are a bit on the pricy side. I have a few thousand dollars invested in my Hue Echo System and love everything about these bulbs. That would be the only flaw I can find with them. The Recap. These are some of the top of the line of smart bulbs. Can you find cheaper bulbs as far as costs is concerned? Yes, you can. But the saying goes, “You get what you pay for.” And that holds true with these bulbs. If you are willing to invest into the Hue System, you won’t be disappointed.

I love my Hue lights!
I've been using Hue bulbs for probably about 8 years, and due to the cost, I have slowly added more over time until nearly every bulb in my house is a Hue bulb.Longevity is great; I've yet to have a single one stop working.Colors are also great, the only color I've found that it doesn't do exceedingly well is purple. The app has always lacked features like customizable animations that other bulbs and apps have. However, the bulbs will work with a lot of other apps. Philips is starting to catch up, though. They've started adding animations, but the color is the only customizable thing. The sync feature is also really cool. You can sync each bulb to an area of your screen. You'll need to buy the expensive sync box for a regular TV, but I use a PC with a projector in my living room, so I only needed to download the free Windows app on my PC. The lights can also be set to customizable routines within the app, which is handy. I have my porch light set to come on at sunset and turn off at sunrise.
