Starbar Fly Trap Attractant Refill For Reusable Fly Traps, 8-30g

These are GREAT for reuseable traps! They stink to high heaven, which works very well in attracting flies. Easy to use, but I do suggest wearing gloves, or you'll find yourself washing your hands after handling. The attractant has a good lifespan, I actually had to refill the water several times before it no longer seemed to attract, or the container filled up, which was more common. Will definitely recommend and will be buying again!

Works well, flies are drawn to it. Don’t place too close though, it stinks.

I have a horse farm and buy this every summer. It works well and is reasonably priced.

This stuff really works - but beware of the shipment when it arrives. The fragile bags (they are designed to dissolve in water) are packed in a zip lock. One of the bags burst - which means you have to handle all the bags with gloves. You do not want to touch this stuff. The manufacturer should pack these in a box.

These work well if you can tolerate the smell of them. I'm not sure which smells worse, the attractant or the dead flies.

The flies in my area don't seem to like this bait. I previously used Rescue bait with very good results but ran out. Decided to try the Starbar bait but I think I'll end up tossing it. A few flies are in the trap but I think they accidentally bumped into it and fell in. :-)I think the bait really has to reek to work. This stuff is mildly unpleasant not vomit-inducing like the Rescue.

The smell is horrific, but it does its job.
