I make burp cloths for baby gifts. I was struggling because the project requires 3 - 4 pressing cycles to complete. My regular Rowenta is so heavy that I could only do a few burp cloths at a time before my hands, back and shoulders ached and I usually burned my fingers. This tiny, lightweight iron fits my arthritic hand perfectly. It heats very fast. It would not be the best choice for a full garment like a dress shirt but it is a perfect choice for small projects, quilting and travel. I was concerned that the light weight would not hold the seams flat...no problem! Wish I had bought it years ago! The silicone mat works great too!

I love this little iron. It heats up fairly quickly and the handle is very easy to hold onto. The last mini iron I had, had a handle that was not easy to hold onto. It comes with a carry case which I probably won't use, but others might for classes or travel. Haven't used the steam feature yet and may not, but it's available if needed.

How did I live without this perfect little iron? Everybody hates ironing but it's unavoidable if you sew or craft. This little iron comes in a perfect case with a little silicone pad to rest it on. It also comes with a very helpful mat so that you don't have to lug out an ironing board. Owning this pink marvel has completely changed my relationship with ironing (which I have always loathed and avoided like the plague). The only 2 minor downsides to the product are 1) that the "instructions" aren't really instructions or explanation of product features. Instead it's just a bunch of warnings about using an iron. It is difficult to see what the settings are but you can figure it out by fiddling around with the dial. 2) the mat has a tendency to get wrinkled which makes it hard if you need a smooth surface to iron something. My workaround is to use parchment paper over and under whatever I am ironing on the mat. love being able to keep this iron near my workspace without it taking up a lot of space itself. And I can imagine traveling with it if I were the kind of person to travel with an iron. I just love this thing!

Love this little iron. Heats up fast.

The iron works great. Gets very hot. I do love the iron's heat and shape. Note there is no auto shut off. The reason for four stars: I feel badly that the included plastic zipper case, which I will not use, will go in the trash...or be donated to a thrift store.

Awesome deal! You would have to pay so much more if you bought all these items separately. The shipping was right on time. Everything looks just like the pictures. The quality is great. I've used my iron and pads several times already. Perfect for travel and those tiny places on sewing and crafting. Will be great for sewing retreats and workdays with my quilt guild. The only thing I did not expect was how hot the silicone pad can get. The iron was not overheating; I just left it on the silicone pad the whole time I was ironing and adjusting a quilt top. Lesson learned- extended time use, I'll alternate between sitting it flat and propped up on back.

Great small iron...unfortunately I didn't care for it because of the size. I returned it.

Very easy to use - a really nice size for talking to classes.
