CentoAnchovy Paste 100% Italian

I love to add a bit of this to tomato sauce and other savory dishes., it adds just a bit of non fishy flavor. It has become difficult to find locally.

It’s a well known product in Italy. It’s recommended on PBS station so I use it to make many dishes and am satisfied with it.

Good packaging. Easy to use

Works for adding just enough anchovy flavor and certain recipes and salad dressings. Extremely overpriced, but lasts a fairly long time for me.

Great paste. I add it to my pasta sauce. Yum

In the past whenever I needed (or wanted) the taste of anchovies for a salad or a pizza or a recipe. I would buy the little tins of them, this is so much easier! I find myself using it more often now, and the added taste is just right. Love having it my refrigerator, I. Use a little dab of for sandwiches, try it.

Aside from the reputation Cento has for high quality this is a great value for your money.It may appear to be more expensive but check the price per ounce - this is almost double the ounces of the others.My package arrived in good condition even if it was shipped solo in a soft envelope. The anchovy paste is in a toothpaste like tube in a box so it was protected well enough (the box was a little smushed).All in all, great product, great price, great shop. I’m making Caesar dressing with this, but you can use it for sauces or anything that needs that umami.
