Very Fresh Tasting
I have read some articles on this brand before several times but figured it's just tuna fish. My "Other" brand i got two weeks ago had a few cans that were "Fishy" smelling (going bad), but the expire date was next year. I didn't get sick or anything, but I was like "This should not smell like this" and.... That led me to try this brand and I'm very happy I did because It Tastes so much better, no smell. Old fish or going bad fish, not kept at the right temperature fish gets a smell to it and you know its on its way out, that's what I had in my previous can of tuna fish (another brand I won't mention). This brand of tuna i had some out of the can which I never do, and it was good right out of the can. I could not do that with the other brands of tuna fish I used to buy, it was the taste that threw me off. This Wild Planet Tuna Fish is well worth getting and I got the "No Salt" added which I prefer because I'm on a low salt food. I would Highly Recommend this product if you wanted good tuna fish.

Excellent, tasty tuna and NOT mushy like cans packed with water or oil!
I really like this tuna because it is NOT packed with water or oil, which typically makes the tuna very mushy. This canned tuna does have a little liquid in it, but my understanding is that it's the natural oils from the fish. The tuna itself is chunky and NOT mushy, and very tasty actually. From now on this is the only kind of canned tuna I will buy. Yes it's 5x as expensive as other canned tuna you can buy in the store, but this is much much better.

As Described Tuna, Less Mercury, Delicious!
Pro: This is as healthy as Tuna gets, simply because they are smaller when pole caught and haven't accumulated as much mercury as the older larger tuna have. Their Wild Caught Salmon is sourced the same way and in less contaminated seas. Pollution is a reality in our world, but we at least have a better choice with Wild Planet. Minimally processed, cooked in the can with the juices still preserved in the can, no salt added, no oils. Pure fish, no additives or artificial dyes. Taste the difference. Please don't drain the juices in the can, allow the juice to be mixed back into the fish, and then it will be moist, not dry. I do add organic spices like Dill weed, sometimes mashed avocado, fresh diced celery and a few green or black chopped olives to taste and skip the bread. It's incredibly satisfying and I eat the whole thing in one serving. It also comes in an easy to open pull top lid so you don't need a can opener, just a small bowl to remix the juices with the hand packed tuna. I find it easier to use a fork than a knife or spoon to minimize the splash from tuna juice when you put it into a small bowl. Enjoy!Con: Nothing that isn't a problem with everything we eat compared to hundreds of years ago. I like tuna and salmon in my diet several times a week, no skin or bones and no salt, water, oils, or additives to either the salmon or tuna. This albacore is the best, mild taste and I can use fresh herbs and add whatever I'm in the mood for each time. Pickle, olives, celery, or simply in the bowl with a fork to integrate the juice for a protein treat. It isn't a beef steak type, but it IS solid tuna and somewhat difficult to separate it from the can and that's a good thing!

Wild Planet is the ONLY brand of canned fish I will buy now.
So far I love all Wild Planet canned fish products, fresh, clean, tasty and nutritious.Superior to the old name brands that used to be the standards but have all gone downhill.

Made us regular tuna consumers
The quality is so good. We’ve been eating 1-2 cans a week for years. I guess there are mixed reviews on water quantity? I’m not sure why that would be important because we drain the can anyway, and though that fluctuates can to can, the meat has never been dry or soggy. It sets a standard for texture, appearance, and flavor beyond anything I’ve seen other brands come close to.

tasty albacore, in chunks, not large fillet, better than most water canned tuna
very little water, good flavor, not as dry as some, better flavor than most, still dry like most water-packed albacore. Tuna was chunked and not in one fillet so not as high quality of a fish piece as I have seen. I was not blown away but then I am not by water-packed albacore anymore since I have gone back to eating primarily oil-packed yellowfin. That is the taste of real tuna in my opinion. I can see that this is superior to most water-packed tuna but it is not something I would ever pay for again, You can't just a this out of the can like you can a quality Yellowfin in olive oil. Tuna should be preserved in olive oil.
